We are looking for someone with a strong background in the development of electronic HW and FW for embedded systems, and who has a passion for managing a professional team of electronic and firmware designers. /p pReporting to the Platform Manager, you will be responsible for delivering robust, connected, and industrialized electronic solutions, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost competitiveness. /p h3KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 h3Technical leadership /h3 ul liValidate design choices (cost, performance, robustness) done by technical Engineers; /li liInterface with product marketing and System Engineers to translate needs into technical solutions; /li liCollaborate with software, cloud, and IoT teams; /li liEnsure quality and repeatability in high-volume production; /li liGuarantee product maintenance in serial life conditions; /li liActively participate to the continuous improvement tools, methodologies standards of the technical profession; /li /ul h3Team Management /h3 ul liLead and develop the team (roles, responsibilities, skill development); /li liCreate and drive individual and team development plans (EMC, RF, low power, safety); /li liEmpower teams in cross-functional collaborations and cooperation, support and motivate team members in achieving project goals; /li liActively contribute to recruitment; /li liEnsure compliance with standards (e.g., activity monitoring with designers, in-person meetings, design reviews). /li /ul h3MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent; /li li5-10 years of prior experience in firmware and/or hardware development for embedded systems in industrial environments (high-volume products); /li li3-5 years of team management experience within electronics technical offices; /li liFluent professional English – (French is a nice to have). /li /ul h3TECHNICAL SKILLS /h3 ul liKnowledge of microcontroller-based embedded systems, C programming language, and hands‑on experience managing “System On Module” systems through serial interfaces and APIs; /li liAnalog, digital, and power electronics (motor control, power supply); /li liPCB design and validation (EMC, thermal, reliability); /li liKnowledge of RF / IP protocols (e.g., Zigbee, Thread); /li liStrong understanding of industrial and manufacturing constraints; /li liStrong design‑to‑cost and mass production mindset; /li liNice to have: Experience in automation, motor control, access control, or smart home. /li /ul pThe position entertains multidisciplinary relationships with internal multicultural teams and external stakeholders (suppliers, subcontractors, customers), collaborating with Project Management Office, Quality, Test Lab and Industrialization teams.
