Job Overview
We are looking for a Disegnatore Schemi Elettrici / Progettista Elettrico – Automazione Industriale for a metalworking company.
Position
The role will be inserted in the Electric Technical Office and will handle design and implementation of electrical schematics for automation panels and industrial plants. It also involves automation activities, potentially supporting Siemens PLC programming and plant commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
Full design of electrical schematics for automation panels, distribution, and machine boards.
Realisation and verification in accordance with current sector regulations (EN60204-1/EN61439, Machinery Directive, etc.) and project specifications.
Development and updating of technical documentation using SPAC Automation (or other electrical CAD).
Technical selection and dimensioning of electrical components (Siemens, Schneider, ABB, etc.).
Technical selection of electromechanical components, sensors, instrumentation.
Coding and insertion of procurement lists for electrical parts using internal management software.
Collaboration with PLC programmers and automation technicians to define hardware architecture and create Siemens system schematics (S7, TIA Portal), HMI/SCADA integration.
Support production in correct interpretation of drawings.
Verification of compliance with CEI/EN regulations.
Management and updating of electrical project archive.
Requirements
Proven experience in industrial electrical design.
Knowledge of IEC electrical symbols, operation of asynchronous electric motors.
Excellent mastery of SPAC Automation.
Ability to read and create electrical schematics, command logic, and interconnections.
Knowledge of main electromechanical components and automation.
Knowledge of CEI, EN electrical standards and CE marking.
High school diploma in electrical, electronic, mechatronic engineering.
