Experteer OverviewAs Financial Controller at the Vignate plant, you combine accounting rigor with strategic cost analysis to influence manufacturing decisions. You'll own month-end processes, costing accuracy, and asset/inventory accounting while strengthening controls and data integrity. The role sits at the crossroads of accounting and financial analytics, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and production performance reporting. You'll work in a plant environment with SAP-driven ERP and have meaningful ownership, visibility, and impact beyond routine accounting.ResponsibilitiesLead month-end close coordination in SAP FI CO and COPA with Shared Service resourcesEnsure GL integrity, control expenses by account and cost/profit centers, and approve accruals and reservesSupport AP with proper coding and invoice booking; manage cost recharges and debit/credit notesConduct cost analyses including product costs, manufacturing variances, inventory valuation, and capital spendingSupport standard cost management and updates; assist in robust costing system maintenanceAssist budgeting/forecasting for annual plans and quarterly outlooks focusing on cost optimizationDrive ERP configuration improvements and standardized reporting dashboardsEnsure compliance with SOX and support internal/external auditsCoordinate tax-related activities, Intrastat, transfer pricing, and US GAAP/local statutory reportingOther duties as assignedQualifications3+ years of SAP FI CO proficiency3+ years standard cost accounting in manufacturing3+ years product cost and manufacturing variance analysis experienceStrong knowledge of Italian accounting and tax regulations and US GAAPStrong numerical/analytical skills with manufacturing‐focus accountingUnderstanding of internal controls and SOX processesAbility to work with cross‐functional teams in a fast‐paced environmentAdvanced English and Italian languagesBenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits packageEquity grant
