Overview
Role: We are looking for a Field IT Technician with experience in IT desktop support and end-user support at large multinational companies, in order to support our customers on site in the area of Milan.
Responsibilities
* identify, diagnose, and resolve issues in computer hardware and software in systems such as Laptops, Desktops, Printers, Mobile devices, Tablets etc.
* provide general deskside support, imaging/ re-imaging PCs and laptops
* coordinate with the third party service provider for timely repair of the system under the maintenance agreement warranty, and repairing minor flaws in hardware if not covered under the same
* provide assistance in installation of other peripherals like printers, scanners, etc., cabling systems like local area network cables, network interface cards, wired switches, etc.
* provide smart hands and eyes support leded by remote team for network devices and servers
Location
Milan area (availability to travel in the area is required - driving license needed)
Requirements
* Minimum 2-3 years previous experience in the delivery of IT support services, ideally within the field
* Diagnostic & support capabilities using standard Windows-based applications & tools (such as M365, Win10, A.D & SCCM)
* Confidence in addressing break/fix issues – Typically supporting PCs / Laptop
* Experience in OS, Apps and H/W installation and troubleshooting depending on project products
* Familiarity with ticketing system
* Good English and fluent Italian
* Availability to travel in the area of Milan
