Your Role
As a Plant Finance Manager on our team, you'll:
Act as a business partner to the Plant Manager and other functions at the plant
Highlight and develop Financial KPIs and provide guidance to meet financial targets
Develop project business cases for decision-making processes
Develop detailed budgets, business plans, and forecasts
Prepare and review budgets and forecasts with functional leaders and management
Supervise preparation of standard reports, analyze budget variances, and conduct ad-hoc analyses
Manage accounting controlling and month-end closing activities
Approve manual journal entries and supporting documentation
Approve site reserves
Maintain cost center and profit center accounting structures, perform checks and analyses according to accounting rules
Present monthly results, budget/forecast variances, and analyses
Perform final validation of TB submissions
Act as US GAAP reviewer for the closing process under delegation and approval of the Divisional Controller
Coordinate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements and analytical reports
Ensure report requirements and deadlines are met
Coordinate preparation and submission of division reports
Manage internal reporting and COQ reporting
Coordinate follow-ups for approvals (Change Review Board, 1802, DPRG)
Approve account reconciliations and supporting documentation
Coordinate resolution of reconciliation issues
Approve site expenses, purchase requisitions, and petty cash
Your Background
Key skills and competencies:
Economical degree
Experience in plant controlling
Knowledge of US GAAP
Proficiency with administration and controlling tools and methodologies
Understanding of corporate guidelines
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to prioritize, accuracy, and reliability
Traits: curiosity, leadership, entrepreneurial mindset, resilience
