Quality & Food Safety Manager

Main Purpose of the Role
The Group RDQ Quality & Food Safety Manager will work closely with R&D, Legal, Regulatory, Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Marketing, IT and other relevant business functions to ensure alignment of overall project objectives. He/she is responsible for execution and implementation of quality and food safety programs globally and will report to the Group RDQ Quality Director. The role offers an exciting international environment with global reach.
What you will do
* Support the development and improvement of Perfetti Van Melle QMS policies
* Ensure compliance with international and local food regulations as well as customer requirements
* Lead internal and external audits; coordinate corrective & preventive action plans
* Define and roll out Global Business Policies, Standards and Guidelines
* Coordinate quality programs in the fields of digitalisation, sustainability and quality control
* Ensure proper implementation and deployment of new standards and systems
* Support non-conformity or consumer complaints investigation and resolution
* Drive quality and food‑safety culture
Our Perfect Candidate
* Degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry or related areas
* 5‑8 years of experience in a Quality & Food Safety organisation within a global food industry company
* Experience in one or more of the following areas is a must: Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Food Safety, QMS, food manufacturing quality, quality & food safety standards, quality & food safety certification systems, crisis & recall management, consumer complaint management, quality & food safety audits, HACCP, risk management, GMP, food manufacturing hygiene
* Strong knowledge of FSSC 22000, BRC or SQF standards
* Continuous improvement mindset and ability to challenge status quo
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to drive impactful processes, work cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders
