Join our diverse team and make your mark in a colorful career! /ppThis Opportunity: This role is responsible for the development of new global product platforms for the Kitchenware and Industrial Bakeware industry. This includes formula design, preparation and application of coatings, and testing these coatings against a wide range of regional/global specifications and customer requirements. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliPlan and conduct experimental work such as formulation, application and testing of coatings. /liliAnalyze and interpret experimental results effectively to contribute to the development of new and improved product platforms. /liliWork in conjunction with RD and regional labs on the development of new product platforms. /liliWork closely with customers and the regions to understand their needs and how to incorporate these needs into new product platforms. /liliWork toward technical milestones and deliver results against aggressive timelines. Coordinate related activities including synthesis, regulatory evaluation and application. /liliMaintain and grow an understanding of general industry coating processes, including details of key customer lines and use this information to inform the research and development of robust coating platforms. /liliDevelop new test methods that will help to accelerate the assessment of new coatings and simulate customer line conditions to increase the speed and success rate of product launches. /liliBuild and maintain a network with commercial and technical teams in all regions to communicate progress on projects and understand future needs. /liliMaintain and communicate results through written and verbal summaries, coatings reports and gate review updates. /liliWork safely, following all lab procedures and contribute to the maintenance of high safety standards. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliRequires a degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Material Science or Chemical Engineering. /liliRequires a Ph. D. Degree with 1+ years of relevant formulation development experience or an M.S. Degree with 4+ years of relevant formulation development experience. /liliRelevant experience with experimental design (DOE) is desired. /liliAbility to work independently and as a part of a team.
