RINA is currently recruiting for a Marine Quality Advisor Internship in Genova.
Mission
A Quality Advisor typically plays a crucial role in supporting the QMS function within an organization. The role supports the application of the Corporate and Company policies and developing and implementing QMS policies, guidelines, procedures and protocols to safeguard assets, projects and business travels.
Key Accountabilities

* Compliance Monitoring – Monitor adherence to QMS requirements, stay current on regulatory changes and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain compliance.
* Risk Assessment – Assist in detailed risk assessments, identify potential risks, and work with cross‑functional teams to mitigate risks before they impact personnel or operations.
* Training and Education – Support creation and delivery of dynamic QMS training programs tailored to employee groups, increasing quality awareness and competence.
* Findings Management – Analyze findings, determine root causes, support documentation and follow‑up actions to prevent recurrence and promote continuous improvement.
* Data Analysis and Reporting – Collect, analyze and interpret QMS data, identify trends, and prepare reports with actionable recommendations for leadership and operational teams.
* Inspections and Audits – Perform internal QMS audits in Italy and abroad, document findings, and cooperate with relevant departments during external inspections and audits to address non‑conformities.
* Communication and Collaboration – Facilitate clear communication of QMS policies across all levels, participate in QMS committee meetings and champion a collaborative quality culture.
* Documentation and Record Keeping – Maintain precise records of QMS activities, audits, training and findings to support audit readiness.
* Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities to enhance QMS processes by integrating industry best practices and innovations, staying current with regulations and technologies.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (General) or Environmental Engineering.
Qualifications

* Willingness to join the Quality Advisory team within the marine sector.
* General knowledge of applicable local, national and international QMS requirements.
* Experience conducting comprehensive risk assessments and quality audits.
* Willingness to design and deliver impactful QMS training and awareness programs.
* Proficiency in data analysis related to QMS performance indicators and capacity to translate findings into practical recommendations.
