RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Site Operations Manager to join its office in Genova within the Energy Project Solutions Division.

Mission

Site Operations Junior Manager supports ensuring the delivery of defined inspection activities on time, within budget, and with quality results. This may include hiring and planning a single or a team of site supervisors, evaluating and analyzing their performance, planning and managing contracts with clients and delivering reporting to the clients.


Key Accountabilities
*
* Activity Coordination: Assist in coordinating activities and resources for the delivery of site supervision services across multiple sites.
* Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
* Interface Management: Maintain regular interfaces with all parties to plan proactively and implement, if necessary, improvement measures.
* Personnel Management Assistance: Support in managing personnel across multiple sites, including task allocation and supervision.
* Inspection Supervision: Supervise inspections, reports and the documentation issued by Site Supervisors and collect and file the required Records.
* Quality Assurance Support: Assist in implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes for site supervision activities and ensure via checking, verification, inspection or audit that the specified level of system and product conformance is achieved. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
* Cost Optimization Assistance: Contribute to strategies for cost optimization while maintaining service quality. Assist in monitoring and controlling expenses related to site operations.
* Invoicing Accuracy and Timeliness Support: Support ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for site supervision services and comply with billing and invoicing procedures.
* Resource Allocation Assistance: Assist in the allocation and management of resources for site supervision activities. Provide support and guidance to team members.
* Performance Evaluation Support: Participate in performance evaluations of personnel and teams and contribute to the implementation of improvement plans.
* Scheduling and Milestone Assistance: Support in developing and managing schedules for site supervision activities and adjust schedules to ensure timely completion.
* Contract Management Support: Assist in managing contracts for site supervision services, contributing to profitability and customer satisfaction initiatives.
* Customer Satisfaction Focus: Support efforts to maintain and improve customer satisfaction levels, address customer concerns, and collaborate with the team to enhance service delivery.
* Data Management Support: Assist in ensuring accurate and timely data entry into legacy systems and follow agreed systems and procedures for data management.
* Risk Awareness: Learn to identify and report potential risks associated with site operations and contribute to the development of risk mitigation strategies.
* Regulatory Compliance Assistance: Plan, establish, and maintain a project program to verify compliance with specified policies, objectives and requirements, covering both the project and contractors/suppliers organizations. Support compliance with industry regulations and standards including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SA8000, OHSES Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, and RINA QMS. Stay informed about relevant regulatory requirements, perform tasks in compliance with the RINA QOHSES System, and support and participate in the organization’s environmental and safety program.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General.


Qualifications
*
* Site Operations Experience: Previous experience in a site operations role is essential, demonstrating a solid understanding of construction processes, project management, and site supervision.
* Contract Management: Experience in managing contracts, including negotiation, administration, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
* Budget Management: Proven experience in budget management, cost control, and financial analysis within the construction or related industry.
* Project Advancement: Experience in advancing construction projects through effective planning, scheduling, and coordination of resources.
