This is a mission-critical role at GCAP HQ that combines architecture, cybersecurity, and cross-functional collaboration to drive digital transformation in defence and aerospace.Retribuzione / BenefitsOwn the Digital Engineering Information Map and its interfaces, ensuring governance, lifecycle states, and traceabilityArchitect and align toolchain integration across legacy and new systems for interoperability and Digital Twins supportDesign and supervise data flows, data replication, and security classifications across geographies and supply chainsDefine data contracts, semantic interoperability, and monitoring of data availability and SLAsEstablish governance and an enabling integration framework to avoid silos and ensure traceability across artefactsOversee end-to-end traceability from requirements through design, verification, manufacturing, and operationsManage transition and legacy coexistence with federated incremental integrationEnsure cybersecurity, encryption, authentication, and resilience across data and toolchainsResponsabilitàMinimum 5 years in a similar defence, aerospace, or complex engineering environment delivering integrated digital solutions across product lifecycleFamiliarity with event-driven architectures, middleware, Change Data Capture (CDC), and data replication/synchronisation strategiesDegree in Engineering, Computer xjrgpwk Science, or a related technical disciplineService Management expertise (e.g., ITIL) with practical experienceProject/Programme Management certification (APM, PRINCE2) or demonstrable multi-stakeholder delivery experienceDeep knowledge of Digital Engineering technologies, data architecture, toolchain integration, MBSE/MBD, PLM, simulation environments, interoperability standardsProven track record designing and delivering information systems architecture in federated, multi-domain environmentsStrong understanding of engineering processes, data flows, configuration management, and traceability
