Position Overview
TheEuropean CFOwill play a pivotal role in driving the company's financial strategy and operational execution across Europe.
This is a highly strategic yet hands-on leadership role, responsible for leading finance teams in multiple European countries (including the UK), ensuring sound financial governance, and supporting the company's rapid growth and transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic business partner to the Global CFO and European leadership team, contributing to regional strategy and business decision-making.
Oversee all financial operations across Europe, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, accounting, tax, treasury, and compliance.
Drive financial performance and ensure the region meets its growth, profitability, and cash flow objectives.
Establish strong financial governance, internal controls, and reporting standards across all European entities.
Lead, mentor, and develop finance teams across multiple countries, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Support M&A;, integration, and investment activities as part of the company's expansion strategy.
Act as a key liaison between regional management and corporate headquarters, ensuring alignment with global financial policies and strategic priorities.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support business growth, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or senior finance leader within theautomotive industry(OEM, Tier 1 supplier, or mobility sector).
Strong financial management background in amultinational environmentwith multi-country exposure (Europe-wide scope preferred).
Combination ofstrategic visionandhands-on operational capability; able to move seamlessly between high-level strategy and detailed execution.
Experience leading teams across multiple geographies and cultures.
Entrepreneurial mindset with agility to thrive in afast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Strong knowledge of European accounting standards, tax, and compliance regulations.
Fluent in English; Italian or other European languages are an advantage.
CPA, ACCA, or MBA preferred but not mandatory.
