What will you do The Sourcing Analyst, New Product Development (NPD) is responsible: - to support the development and execution of category practices that are aligned with evolving Business Needs across Brands, Markets and Supply Chain. - with strong category focus the Sourcing analyst drives and supports the execution of New Product Development projects and is a point of interaction between the Category Managers and R&D, Cross Functional Teams and suppliers. - Key Responsibilities: - Helps ensure Packaging Categories are aligned and applied to NPD needs by: - Performing data based analysis to help define Category profile, including Risk Assessment, supply base assessment and SRM strategy for existing and upstream suppliers, where needed. - Assessing and implementing category improvement initiatives - Works closely with Category Managers / business stakeholders and provides analytical support to create category specific strategic plan in alignment with the regions/countries, financial budgets and global business strategies - Participates in initiates internal and external analysis (industry and supplier) for futuristic materials. Upstream Engagement - Works closely NPD Packaging Manager, R&D and Project Teams to understand the key upcoming launches that are taking place over the next two to three years. - Supports procurement team to provide sourcing solutions in line with sourcing strategy that fit the business need and are sensibly sourced and competitively priced. - Track and support the end-to-end project pipeline from initiation to execution and being a point of interface with global procurement category leaders. - Supports key procurement processes related to NPDs, such as: supplier scouting, selection and development including development of robust BCP and supplier dual sourcing options right from the start for every new initiative - Stakeholder Alignment and Sourcing support. - Supports the Category Managers with the identification of stakeholders, the initiation of the strategy development as well as execution of NPD projects - Actively engages with stakeholders as defined in alignment with the Category Managers throughout the strategy development and sourcing execution process for futuristic materials. - Supports spend analysis, Go-To-Market initiatives and risk assessments in alignment with the Category Managers and ensures proper documentation. - Provides support during the supplier screening and supplier selection process by: assisting the development of RFx; supporting supplier engagement and communication packages; prepares fact-base negotiation packages and supports preparation of implementation plans. - Category Management support. - Executes end-to-end NPD projects and participates in internal and external analysis (industry & supplier) in collaboration with Category Managers - Supports supplier selection and fact-based negotiations processes - Tracks key Procurement NPD KPIs and escalates issues to Category Manager Qualifications What we are looking for Required Qualifications - Experience: 1-3 years’ professional experience.
