This role can be performed in Italy in Rome, Pescara, or Ancona. /ppThis is a full-time position that reports to the Under the Roof Senior Employee Relations Manager, within the EU Employee Experience and Relations Team (EXR). The role works across multiple business lines including First Mile, Middle Mile, Last Mile, Amazon Fresh, and XL supply chain in a specific geographic region. Travel up to 50% within Italy and beyond on occasion, sometimes with little notice. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliLead and embody the EXR philosophy to build positive, long-term relationships with employee representatives in-country, ensure compliance with country regulations, implement the strategy and agenda of industrial relations, attend information and consultation meetings, and manage relations with employees’ representation in alignment with internal stakeholders. /liliDrive project management excellence through innovative, scalable solutions and standardized processes, implementing efficient tools and best practices to achieve business objectives while optimizing resource utilization and protecting a positive employee experience. /liliLead data-driven decision-making through analytical insights and compliance oversight, develop persuasive narratives, and ensure Labor and Employee Relations activities align with regulations. /liliPerform regular site visits to maintain a positive workplace through engagement mechanisms, translating business needs into actionable plans and managing daily operations. /liliFoster cross-functional collaboration with Ops, HR, Legal, Finance, PR, and Public Policy teams, delivering EXR solutions and crisis management through effective communication and stakeholder engagement across all organizational levels. /li /ulh3Basic Qualifications /h3ulliExperience in employee relations, labour relations, or labour/employment Italian law /liliMaster’s Degree in Human Resources, Employment Law, Labour Relations or MBA /liliFluent in Italian and English (CEFR, C2) /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliExperience in distribution, logistics and/or transportation industries /liliAnalytical, flexible, and organizational skills /liliExpertise in project management /liliDemonstrated ability to navigate complex, international organizational structures /liliInterpersonal and persuasive skills /liliAbility to comprehend complex information and exercise sound judgment /liliAbility to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments /li /ulpAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
