General Description of the Role
Global IT Specialist – Order to Cash (SAP SD), reporting to the Global IT Manager Business Partner Supply Chain, is a member of the Global IT Team dedicated to the Supply Chain functional area. As a key member of the Global IT Supply Chain team, the Global IT Specialist plays a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technological solutions. The role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing IT capabilities that support Logistics, Customer Service & Procurement operations across the Group, by managing system enhancements, and providing technical expertise for projects. The role involves working on logistics, customer service and procurement solutions design, API and EDI integrations and delivering high‑quality testing and documentation. This role involves close collaboration with global, regional, and local stakeholders to ensure that IT initiatives align with business goals, deliver measurable value, and foster innovation.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
Enhancement Management
* Analyze business requirements and derive functional specifications for system enhancements for Supply Chain and SAP SD functionalities related to Order‑to‑Cash processes.
* Collaborate with technical teams to optimize processes and ensure compliance.
API & EDI Integration
* Support designing API and EDI integrations between SAP and external systems, in a global integration approach, ensuring the application of best practices and standardization.
* Troubleshoot integration issues and coordinate with vendors for resolution.
* Collaborate with functional and technical teams to optimize processes and ensure compliance.
Project Technical Support
* Provide technical expertise during project lifecycle (design, build, deploy).
* Assist in system configuration, data migration, and integration activities.
Testing & Documentation
* Prepare and execute functional and integration test plans.
* Document system changes, processes, and user guides for future reference.
Skills & Competencies
Technical & Functional Expertise
* SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain – Deep understanding of SAP modules (SD, CS, MM, LE, TM) and components (aATP) and adoption of Fiori Apps is essential for system integration and process optimization; knowledge of other SAP suites (e.g., SAP CX) is a plus.
* Project Management – Ability to manage technical tasks within complex projects.
* Business Acumen – grasp of end‑to‑end Customer Service, Logistics and Procurement workflows.
* Tools & Standards – Familiarity with TMS systems (Tesi/Transporeon), Procurement Tools (COUPA) is a plus for ensuring secure and compliant operations.
* Experience with integration platforms and middleware solutions is advantageous.
* Experience in testing methodologies and documentation standards is considered a strong plus.

* Third European language – A plus for broader communication.
Education & Experience
* 3+ years in similar roles within multinational or consulting environments, preferably in Customer Service and Logistics or procurement areas.
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related fields.
* International experience and a global mindset are essential.
* Certifications such as ITIL v4, Agile are considered advantageous.
Additional Requirements
* Availability to travel internationally up to 20% of time.
