The position is based in Naples, Italy. /ph3Description /h3pIntegrated in the RAM department belonging to the RAMS unit, you will be integrated in a multidisciplinary team in charge of RAMS governance. The missions are to lead RAM activities across the railway system, subsystems and products in compliance with applicable requirements, company guidelines and standards. /ph3Mission /h3pIntegrated in the RAM department belonging to the RAMS unit, you will be integrated in a multidisciplinary team in charge of RAMS governance. The missions are to: /pulliLead the execution of the RAM Programme for railway systems, subsystems and products, ensuring alignment with requirements, guidelines and standards. /liliCoordinate with prime contractors, subcontractors and RAM staff; produce RAM analyses and RAM requirements verification. /liliVerify and sign off design, installation and commissioning of RAM-related requirements across systems/subsystems/products (e.g., Train Control, Passenger Vehicles, Service Vehicles, Traction Electrification, Communications, UPS, Platform Screen Gates, Fire Detection). /liliSupport Engineering/Product Development to guarantee maximum Reliability and Availability in compliance with RAM Standards. /liliSupport the Commissioning Manager in identifying and prioritizing activities to guarantee RAM performance across commissioning phases. /liliPerform RAM governance activities and coordinate RAM referents for each technology involved in the project. /liliContribute to delivering systems/subsystems/products on time and within budget. /liliReport to the Project RAMS Manager or PM on status, deadlines, schedules and budgets. /li /ulh3Accountabilities /h3ulliEnsure execution of RAM activities throughout projects, bids and product lifecycles in accordance with Hitachi Rail processes and guidelines. /liliEstablish RAM programmes for projects and products. /liliPlan and manage RAM activities and budgets. /liliProvide feedback to design teams early in the lifecycle. /liliPerform Failure Mode and Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA). /liliApply reliability modeling techniques (RBDs, FTA, Markov Chains, Petri-Nets, etc.). /liliLife Cycle Cost analysis and reliability predictions per international standards; ensure RAM parameter performance in operation. /liliApply FRACAS processes and ensure RAM requirements are provided to suppliers; manage interfaces with other departments, suppliers, partners and clients. /liliDevelop and implement RAM standard processes and improvements. /li /ulh3Required Skills /h3ulli5 to 10 years of experience in RAMS. /liliKnowledge of international standards applicable to railway domain (e.g., EN 50126). /liliBackground in reliability engineering for products/systems in industry (Railway, Aerospace, etc.). /liliExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office. /liliExperience with Isograph Reliability Workbench or equivalent. /li /ulh3Education / Qualifications /h3pTechnical degree or equivalent technical background. /ph3Languages /h3ulliEnglish (spoken and written) proficiency /liliFrench or Spanish (spoken and written) is a plus /li /ulh3Additional /h3pWe are an equal opportunity employer.
