Role overview: Under broad supervision, the IT Administrator will diagnose, troubleshoot, and support employees with technical issues related to desktops, laptops, network services, and ERP systems like JDE. The role involves supporting and maintaining IT infrastructure, supporting ERP updates, and ensuring security and documentation compliance. Typically requires 3-5 years of experience.
Main duties
* Infrastructure: Install and configure hardware/software, perform maintenance, manage equipment records, collaborate with global IT, and improve support procedures.
* JDEdwards/ERP: Support user issues, manage user accounts, perform mass data modifications, run SQL scripts, and support ERP updates and cloud migration.
Responsibilities and accountabilities
* Set up new users, manage access rights, ensure device security, and manage server room access.
* Provide first-level support for JDE and other IT support tasks.
Qualifications and experience
* Good Italian and basic English skills; able to communicate with global IT team.
* High school diploma; minimum 6 months experience in a similar role.
* Interest in technology, willingness to learn.
* Basic knowledge of Windows server, Active Directory, network protocols, Windows desktop, MS Office.
* Basic understanding of JDE processes, user account management, and development.
