The Position DOORMAN Main purpose: The Doorman acts as Guests’ first point of contact and welcomes them in our unique hotel, representing the very first impression of their unforgettable experience. Reports to: Head Concierge. Main duties & responsibilities: - Responsible for the welcome and farewell of our guests, according to the Company policies, standard and procedures, maintaining high standards at all times; - Responsible for Guests’ cars parking and cleanliness of the parking area; - Ensure that the external reception area is always in good order and well maintained; - Informed about guest information (arrivals, departures and guests in house); - Being informed about touristic attractions in the area and services offered by the hotel; - Works closely with the Reception staff and offers assistance when necessary; - Deals with urgent requests when asked by a Supervisor; - Maintain professional relationships with guests and colleagues; - Anticipate guests’ needs. Listen and respond constructively to the Head of Departments’ ideas/suggestions/feedback. Be able and willing to work as a team within the department and with other departments. Be able to follow guidelines and priorities assigned by Head of the Department in order to achieve goals in a timely and satisfactory way. We require: - Professional experience, preferably at international level, in the same role; - Intermediate level of English knowledge.
