Responsibilities
Facilitate continuous improvement on Handling and Transport processes across the manufacturing sites.
Analyze AS IS and future state and be motivated to improve activities.
Create and maintain a plan for improvement.
Create the needed Engineering Change Notices (CN's).
Lead improvement tasks / projects.
Act as case handler on an escalation process, used when factories cannot progress production – urgent and often critical to solve quickly.
Be part of building a culture of excellence, innovation, and responsibility.
Investigate and solve production issues using structured methods such as 5x Why and Fishbone Diagrams.
Apply continuous improvement principles using quality tools like Lean.
Education
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar.
GB Lean.
Experience
About 6-8 years of experience in similar roles as described above.
Worked with
Leading improvement tasks.
Analyses Handling & Logistics processes.
Transport tool specification.
Process flow creation.
Focus on optimization and standardization within manufacturing processes using the toolbox mentioned above.
Core competences
Blend of technical, analytical, and operational competencies related to Handling & Transport and continuous improvement.
Skills in process design and optimization for Handling & Transport.
Willingness to spend time in the factory environment to understand and solve problems.
Data-Driven Decision Making; use of data analytics tools such as Lean.
Use of 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and FMEA to identify and solve Handling or Logistics issues.
Self-motivated, result-oriented, and organized.
Ability to collaborate across cultures/time zones and work with stakeholders.
Customer-oriented with understanding of the value chain from a customer perspective.
