The Lab will integrate new hardware—electronics, sensors, processors, and interconnectivity—with advanced algorithms, including signal processing, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and low‑power embedded systems, to support AR functionalities. /p pThe Lab will operate as part of the Group’s RD platform, with more than 30 global RD centers, 1,000 researchers, and over 11,000 patents. It will run for an initial five‑year period and will employ more than 100 researchers and scientists. The role involves close collaboration with Politecnico di Milano, international partners, and EssilorLuxottica RD teams.
