Safety, environment, and wellbeing are our foundation, and we never compromise them. /p pWe are looking for a bMaintenance Management Engineer /b specializing in 2-Stroke Engines. The main responsibilities include creating and managing maintenance plans for both scheduled and unscheduled mainte nance and overhauls, preparing and monitoring the maintenance budget, selecting the appropriate Wärtsilä network for maintenance execution, and controlling the scope, cost, and quality of maintenance jobs. /p pThe position is available in Trieste (Italy), Hamburg (Germany), or Moschato (Greece); at this time, we are not considering applications that require relocation. /p h3Your role and responsibilities /h3 ul liCreate, update, and share the annual maintenance plan for each contract in the assigned area. /li liUpdate job plans with technical upgrades and changes, including spare parts lists, manpower, time, frequency, and maintenance schedules in the maintenance management system. /li liKeep asset meters, fluid management information, and all maintenance data updated in the maintenance system according to the established frequency. /li liProvide feedback to the contract manager when maintenance system information is not received from the customer. /li liPlan resources and competencies for executing work orders if contracted. /li liCommunicate with contract managers, customers, external providers, maintenance coordinators, and logistic coordinators. /li liPlan maintenance for assigned customers/contracts and keep involved stakeholders informed. /li liPrepare maintenance budget input for annual contract budgeting. /li liEnsure technical insights during the contract lifetime are implemented and communicated to the contract manager and customer. /li liProactively seek performance improvements for more efficient maintenance. /li liProvide maintenance overview reporting according to the contract interval. /li liEvaluate and coordinate with the most suitable Wärtsilä network company for upcoming maintenance jobs, discussing and agreeing on job scope, required labor, skills, and special contractual requirements. /li /ul h3Requirements for the position /h3 ul liGood knowledge and understanding of 2-stroke engine functionality. /li liExperience in maintenance management, particularly with 2-stroke engines. /li liMaritime experience is an advantage. /li liFluent in English, both spoken and written. /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. /li liGood self-organization of activities (internal and external). /li liStructured and planned way of working. /li liFocused and can-do attitude. /li liGood cooperation, teamwork, and communication skills. /li /ul h3Why you and us? /h3 pYou are valued – as your true self.
