Amazon Now operations is looking for an experienced area manager with 3+ years of a strong record of achieving results in Last Mile Operations/ On the Road Operations (OTR). We are looking to hire a manager to join the team that redefines fast delivery, helps us build and run this new service for our customers, & oversees 3P on the road (OTR) operations.
When you join Amazon as an Area Manager, you’ll gain experience leading a large and diverse team to make sure your area of the business keeps pace with demand. In this hands‑on role, you’ll learn about the complexity of operations at a global business and what it takes to make everything run seamlessly. While you implement your team’s approach to drive productivity, you’ll also work closely with your colleagues/teams to address challenges, which means no two days will be the same.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing
* Analyze and implement corrective actions to make sure quality, productivity and SLAs are at consistently high levels, and business objectives are met across all shifts
* Manage OTR operations with 3P to drive the weekly, monthly, and quarterly plan in‑line with other stakeholders management.
* Manage OTR Supervisors to have a standardized daily routine for supervisors managing UTR in each dark store
* Support and lead a team and handle administrative work alongside building and supporting a strong team culture
* Analyze performance and suggest process improvements to optimize work and improve customer experience
* Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes
Basic Qualifications
* 3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
* 3+ years of employee and performance management experience
* Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
