Experteer Overview In this role, you own the functional safety lifecycle for automotive IC projects from concept to production, shaping safety architectures for next‐gen mixed‐signal SoCs. You work closely with the design team and act as the primary safety interface for customers and assessors, ensuring ISO 26262 compliance and robust safety cases. You will operate with autonomy to influence engineering decisions and drive safety-focused outcomes in a fast-moving, high-impact environment. Retribuzione / Benefits Own functional safety activities across product development from concept to production release
Define technical safety concepts and architectures for complex mixed‐signal SoCs
Moderate and approve critical safety analyses (DFMEA, FMEDA) and perform architectural metric calculations
Create and maintain the safety case; serve as primary technical interface for customers and assessors on safety matters
Collaborate with senior designers, systems engineers, and management to embed safety requirements across design stages
Ensure products meet ISO 26262 compliance and uphold quality and reliability standards
Responsabilità Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of automotive functional safety experience or Master's degree with 3+ years
Comprehensive ISO 26262 knowledge with practical application to hardware and software
Proven track record leading safety activities for automotive mass‐produced products
Technical expertise in safety analysis methods (FMEA, FMEDA, FTA) and understanding of semiconductor failure modes
Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder influence abilities
Functional Safety certification (e.g., CFSP, CFSE) is highly desirable
