MISSION
We are looking for a structured and detail‑oriented Pricing Specialist who will be responsible for managing and optimizing the pricing process across products and markets. Success in this role means ensuring timely and accurate execution of pricing activities, supporting business objectives while maintaining compliance with internal policies. Acting as a key interface between Product Planning, Finance, Sales Operations, and Regional teams, the Pricing Specialist will drive alignment and consistency in pricing decisions.
This position plays a crucial role in maximizing profitability, competitiveness, and long‑term growth for the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Manage the preparation of pricing papers for all markets, coordinating with Regional teams to discuss proposals and supporting Finance in the analysis required for approval.
- Ensure that pricing approval processes align with company profitability targets and Pricing Power objectives.
- Prepare and release price lists for new models, model years, product updates, and special series.
- Define and validate commercial parameters (e.g., prices, option take rates, sales incentives) in support of Program Approvals.
- Monitor the competitiveness of Maserati models, analyzing competitor pricing strategies and supporting Product Managers in defining quarterly actions to achieve both commercial and financial goals.
- Track regional pricing trends and option take rates to identify opportunities and ensure consistent alignment across markets.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3–5 years of experience in Pricing, Product Marketing, Business Planning, or Finance, preferably within the automotive or luxury industry.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proven ability to interpret financial and market data.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts (profitability analysis, contribution margin, elasticity).
- Excellent analytical skills, being timely, data‑driven, and detail‑oriented.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross‑functional and international teams.
- Personal interest for automotive industry, Luxury world, and Digital evolution will be considered a strong plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint essential); knowledge of SAP, BI tools, or other pricing/financial systems is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required.
