Responsibilities / Tasks
How you’ll make an impact:
1. Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with customers.
2. Perform basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair on assigned equipment.
3. Act as a supervisor during the installation of production lines or machinery, when required.
4. Coordinate installation activities of lines or machinery, ensuring smooth execution and collaboration.
5. Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of provided tools and testing equipment.
6. Identify and contribute to sales opportunities, including spare parts, new contracts, renewals, and system upgrades.
This role requires availability for business travel, primarily across Italy and occasionally abroad, for approximately 200 days per year, Monday through Friday.
Your Profile / Qualifications
What sets you up for success:
7. Technical diploma from a secondary school (preferably in a mechanical or industrial field)
8. Willingness to travel extensively across Italy (approximately 200 days/year, Monday to Friday), with occasional international travel
9. Availability to work on weekends (typically once a month, depending on project needs)
10. Strong written and spoken English and Italian knowledge
11. Proactive mindset and flexibility in adapting to dynamic work environments

12. Specialization in mechatronics
13. Experience with technical documentation and familiarity with the GEA product portfolio and related processes/applications
