Locations: Lombardy, Madrid, Barcelona


Essential duties and Responsibilities

* Achieve assigned financial objectives and KPIs through Monthly Forecast and Funnel Review Process for assigned accounts, with major emphasis on share of wallet expansion
* Regularly assess channels and target Accounts, define growth potential/targets and develop strategies to achieve growth targets
* Conduct regular meetings with key account decision makers to understand evolving requirements and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
* Stay on top of industry trends through collaboration with peers, industry publications, and conference attendance
* Manage and measure account performance using KPIs, identify gaps in performance, and communicate and institute countermeasures during quarterly business reviews with customers
* Demonstrate time and territory balance and execute sales plans through channel and target Accounts; manage conflicts within the OTT HydroMet Channel network
* Actively seek and develop new business opportunities with direct and indirect channels through consultative selling and other sales activities
* Identify prospects, establish and maintain relationships with authorities, engineering firms and other accounts that influence buying decisions in the assigned territory
* Negotiate and execute contracts, complex projects and customer-specific product development initiatives with Legal, Finance, R&D, Strategic Marketing, Sales, Service and Customer Support
* Analyze competitors\' activities, pricing strategies and market positioning to identify advantages and adjust sales approaches accordingly
* Participate in sales activities including customer site visits, calls, trade shows, product demonstrations, customer seminars and channel management


Qualifications

* High school Diploma; Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred
* 5+ years of sales experience with Channel Partner and Key Accounts in Hydro and Met businesses
* Relational and presentation skills with the ability to communicate with people of various technical backgrounds
* Proficiency in using a CRM tool for funnel management and forecasting
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to relate well to all levels of the organization
* Fluent in written and spoken English, Italian and Spanish
* Ability to travel approximately 50 percent within Spain and Italy
* Self-motivated with a customer-focused mindset
* Problem-solving mentality with a can-do attitude
