What You’ll Do
* Collect, analyze, and summarize account information and manage bookkeeping and other accounting operations based on the Italian system;
* Assist with daily finance operations (daily payment list, bank transactions, etc.);
* Assist with monthly credit card movements bookkeeping and tracking;
* Support monthly and yearly accounting closing processes in a deadline-driven environment;
* Assist with sales and vendor invoice issuing processes;
* Collaborate closely with the customer operations team to assist with refunds, customer balances, etc.;
* Participate actively in improving current accounting processes;
* Stay updated on financial policies, regulations, and legislation changes;
* Support the audit process;
* Manage the Intrastat model responsibilities;
* Assist with the accounting archive process.
Who You Are
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field; accounting high school diploma is a plus;
* Fluent in Italian and proficient in English (B2 or higher);
* Proficiency in SAP is a plus but not required;
* At least 2 years of professional experience in an accounting or tax department within the service sector;
* Good knowledge of MS Office;
* Understanding of the Italian Tax Code;
* Experience or knowledge of incentive legislation (R&D, social security, etc.) is preferred;
* Big 4 experience is a plus.
