Synergie Italia's ICT Corporate Division, specializing in Professional Staffing and Recruitment of qualified personnel, is seeking a Digital Operations Excellence Specialist for a leading company in defense technology, radar, and aerospace sectors.
Position
The Digital Operations Excellence Specialist, part of the "Operation Excellence" team, will be responsible for:
* Analyzing and continuously improving operational processes for efficiency, cost, environmental impact (ESG), acting as interface between Production, IT, and other involved entities;
* Implementing digital solutions using company-provided software;
* Planning improvement activities and proposing cutting-edge digitalization and automation solutions;
* Analyzing production processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities;
* Developing and monitoring KPIs for production and supply chain performance;
* Conducting data analysis to support decision-making and proposing data-driven solutions;
* Developing applications and software solutions via low-code platforms (e.g., Mendix);
* Implementing digital solutions for automation and operational optimization;
* Extracting, processing, and analyzing data with SQL and BI tools;
* Using advanced Excel skills for data modeling and analysis;
* Programming to develop advanced analysis tools and automate repetitive tasks;
* Interfacing with ERP systems, especially SAP, for data collection and structuring;
* Modeling and optimizing business processes using BPMN.
Requirements
* Degree in Management Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent;
* Deep knowledge of SQL and relational databases;
* Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools;
* Experience in programming languages for analysis and automation (e.g., Python);
* Knowledge of low-code systems, preferably Mendix;
* Experience managing and analyzing complex data;
* Ability to make quick, data-based decisions;
* Deep understanding of SAP;
* Familiarity with business process modeling via BPMN;
* Fluent English (B2 or higher);
* Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills;
* Ability to engage resources and communicate effectively at all organizational levels;
* Strong communication and leadership skills;
* Ability to work independently, analyze, and share problems.

Location: Rome, hybrid work mode
Contract: 12-month temporary employment with potential for permanent placement
Level and Salary: Negotiated based on experience and skills
