About the role
The Finance Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the organization's day-to-day financial activities. This position is responsible for validating operational financial data, ensuring policy compliance, and assisting with accurate and timely financial processing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to collaborate effectively across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and validate team timesheets and reported working hours to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Monitor employee expense submissions, verify supporting documentation, and ensure adherence to company policies.
* Review contractor invoices prior to approval and payment, resolving discrepancies as needed.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to financial operations, reimbursements, and payments.
* Collaborate closely with the finance team to support timely and precise payment processing.
* Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance financial reporting and expense control.
* Support ad-hoc financial tasks, audits, and reporting as required.Qualifications
Job requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (or
* equivalent experience).
* Experience in financial operations, accounts payable, or similar roles preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
* Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial software/tools.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
