Corporate Development, within the Group M&A; and Corporate Development team, is responsible for the origination and execution of key strategic initiatives, supporting the top management in the implementation of UniCredit Group growth strategy. You will be part of a team with high visibility and performance, in close contact with the Group top management and business leaders.
We are looking for an outstanding Intern that, within the Corporate Development team, will get a remarkable experience.
What you'll be doing
Key responsibilities and tasks include:
- Involvement in a wide range of projects related to partnerships and/or extraordinary transactions, encompassing partnership strategy assessment and project management of multi-country projects
- Management of an entire deal process, contributing to coordination and project management activities, financial and strategic analysis, transaction structuring, preparation of transaction documents
- Working closely with different departments within the bank to ensure a thorough assessment of opportunities and to make sure transactions move forward quickly and efficiently
- Preparing comprehensive investment decks and structured financial models to support business discussion
- Structuring and preparing management presentations, board and internal committees’ materials and other presentation materials to be used to support transaction execution and/or strategic dialogue with Group top management and business leaders
- Successful candidates are expected to fastly grow over time, as well as exposure to the Group top management and potential counterparties, with a variety of activities and opportunities in a dynamic and demanding business area.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous internship experience (especially in the areas of corporate finance, M&A; or strategy acquired in banks, M&A; boutiques, consulting firms or major corporations) is a plus
- Understanding and genuine interest in the Financial Institutions sector
- Strong analytical / numeracy skills, with high level of attention to details
- Good interpersonal skills (especially communication and team spirit) and ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders in an international environment

- Ability to work in a structured way, setting clear goals and monitoring results
- Business acumen
- English full work proficiency and Italian as a plus (additional languages of the Group are considered further plus)
