Responsibilities
He/She is capable of coordinating the entire project flow from the final stage of the commercial negotiations with the customer, through the job development phases, up to plant commissioning. He can relate to internal and external customers, showing a spirit of initiative, flexibility and willingness to travel all over the world.
Main task and key responsibilities:
- Ability to read and interpret sales and/or supply contracts;
- Ability to plan and schedule job activities, focusing on timeframes, costs and quality;
- Management of critical aspects related to maintaining the cash flow defined for a job order;
- Actively put into effect the new technological solutions ensuring customer’s satisfaction and the company’s profitability;
- Risk assessment, recovery plans, claims management;
- Coordinating with the various teams and subsidiaries involved in job progress (Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Assembly);
- Shipping supervision and responsibility for the job order income statement;
- Coordination of site work up to the startup of the plant;
- Manage contractual changes by taking precautions against possible claims of the customer or by addressing the possible claims to suppliers;
- Customer relations and satisfaction.
Technical Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Management, Aerospace, Naval);
- Previous experience (minimum 4 years) as a PM in plant manufacturing companies, preferably in-house manufacturing;
- Drawing up of risk assessments, contracts and contract budgets;
- Relations with external customers;
- The candidate will preferably have knowledge of claims management processes;
- The candidate will preferably have PMP certification.
