Business Development Manager
A challenging opportunity exists for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and recruiting new dealers, developing existing distributors, and managing key accounts in Italy and surrounding countries across various market segments.
About the Role:
* Achieve regional sales targets and maximize sales volumes through effective business development strategies.
* Create and implement regional sales plans and quotas aligned with business objectives.
* Conduct direct and indirect business development activities to develop new distribution channels and key accounts in diversified verticals.
* Drive and support distributors in the development of their business activities.
* Respond to and close sales inquiries in cooperation with distributors.
* Visit customers and conduct hands-on demonstrations to effectively convert business leads into orders.
* Organize and participate in trade shows, events, and promotional roadshows.
* Analyze regional market trends and discover new growth opportunities.
About You:
* Masters or Bachelors degree in Sales, Marketing, or Engineering.
* Minimum 3 years of proven B2B sales experience in relevant Geospatial industries.
* Fluency in Italian and professional level of English is mandatory.
* Results-oriented with a positive outlook and clear goal of high quality and commercial profit.
* Strong negotiation and excellent face-to-face communication skills.
Travel Requirements:
This position requires frequent travel in Italian-speaking countries (approximately 50%) and occasional travel in Europe to visit business partners/clients, trade shows, and strategic accounts.
