We are seeking a highly motivated bProduct Design Engineer /b to join our Innovation team based in Castelfranco Veneto (TV). /p pACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVES: /p ul liDesign, creation, and iterative testing of physical prototypes to validate product concepts and ensure manufacturability. /li liCollaborate closely with design and engineering to refine product designs based on prototype feedback and testing results. /li liSupport the development process by troubleshooting prototype issues and driving improvements that align with project timelines and cost targets. /li liExecute detailed product design activities, ensuring all design components meet functional, aesthetic, and manufacturing requirements. /li liDevelop, maintain, and control product details documentation, including CMF (Color, Material, Finish) specifications and critical design tolerances. /li /ul h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign detailed prototype components and assemblies using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability. /li liBuild and assemble physical prototypes utilizing various materials and fabrication techniques (e.g., machining, 3D printing, foam modelling, card modelling). /li liPlan and conduct prototype testing including functional and usability assessments. /li liSupport prototyping and testing phases by preparing accurate design packages and making timely modifications based on feedback. Iterate designs rapidly based on test data, stakeholder feedback, and technical constraints. /li liContribute ideas to improve product innovation, design efficiency, and prototype quality within a fast-paced environment. /li liCreate, review, and finalize detailed CAD models, drawings, and 3D files with a strong emphasis on manufacturability and user experience. /li liDevelop and update comprehensive CMF documentation aligned with design intent and brand standards. /li liWork directly with suppliers and manufacturing to validate design feasibility and resolve potential product issues. /li liParticipate actively in design reviews, providing detailed inputs on product aesthetics, material selection, and functional details to maintain a unified product vision and execution. /li liSupport cross-functional collaboration across design, engineering, marketing, and quality assurance functions. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 pbQUALIFICATIONS: /b University degree in mechanical or design engineering or equivalent is required /p h3Experience /h3 pbEXPERIENCE: /b a minimum of 3 years experience in RD roles in consumer products companies is preferred /p h3Knowledge /h3 ul liExperience with mechanical design work and knowledge in manufacturing processes /li liAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings /li liKnowledge and experience with utilization of CAD/3-D Modeling Software /li liSolid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel /li liGood sketching and concept generation skills /li liGood physical model building skills /li liAbility to understand complex mathematical relationships that underpin mechanical analysis /li /ul h3Mindset and Interpersonal Skills /h3 ul liCapability to develop activities autonomously /li liGood interpersonal relation skills and capability to work in a multinational environment /li liEagerness to grow, to learn and to increase the level of responsibilities in the role /li liAnalytical rigor and solid process management and way of working /li /ul pCurious about our values?
