Private Partnerships Division (PSP) PSP is responsible for engaging the private sector through high‑impact partnerships in support of WFP's strategic priorities, and through individual giving to build and retain support from the public worldwide. Purpose of the Assignment Under the supervision of the Editorial Communications Officer in the PSP, the graphic designer will design and update compelling marketing and pitch material in support of WFP's partnerships and fundraising strategy, as well as internal support and staff engagement materials. Accountabilities / Responsibilities Lead on the design and development of high‑quality pitching and marketing material, while ensuring consistency with WFP’s branding and a compelling look and feel. Own and drive the development of campaign creative for use across WFP’s and our private partners’ channels, including the WFP website and intranet, corporate social media channels, and more. Edit and revise existing pitching and marketing materials as well as internal support assets to ensure visual consistency and high quality, coordinating with PSP leadership as necessary. Lead the creation of custom on‑brand creative, including icons and illustrations, infographics, templates, and layouts for partnership toolkits and ad‑hoc deliverables. Enhance PSP’s visual storytelling by editing audiovisual communication material highlighting the impact of WFP’s work with private sector partners. Provide design expertise and creative solutions across the division as needed, supporting strategic goals and helping shape the design identity of major partnership initiatives (e.g., World Food Day and other campaigns, emergency response‑related communications, etc.). Deliverables of the Assignment The deliverables include the design and development of high‑quality pitching and marketing materials aligned with WFP branding; creation of campaign visuals for WFP and partner channels; revision and enhancement of existing materials to ensure consistency; production of custom creative assets such as icons, infographics, templates, and layouts; editing of audiovisual materials showcasing WFP’s private sector partnerships; and provision of design expertise to support key initiatives and campaigns across the division. Qualifications and Experience Required Education University degree and/or 5 years’ work experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia Design, or a related field. Work History At least 5 years of relevant experience in graphic design. Technical Expertise Excellent creative and design skills. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Strong data visualisation skills, translating complex information into clear, compelling graphics. Solid knowledge of typography, layout, and composition. Experience creating visually appealing slide decks, particularly in PowerPoint and online apps including Canva. Attention to detail, pixel‑perfect designs. Ability to adhere to corporate visual style and brand identity guides while adding creative flair. Experience editing videos for social media is a plus. Experience collaborating with copywriters, creatives, and technical teams to develop a range of communications products (factsheets, social cards, pitch decks, webpages, illustrations, video overlays, etc.).
