Tecnocap Group is seeking an experienced Lithography Specialist / Technician with a strong background in tinplate printing and coating operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting production activities, process optimization, machine performance, quality standards, and technical troubleshooting across multiple Group facilities.
This position is ideal for a hands-on professional with expertise in metal decoration processes and a willingness to work in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, supervise, and optimize tinplate printing and coating lines.
- Support production start-ups, machine commissioning, and process improvements.
- Monitor print and coating quality, ensuring compliance with customer and company standards.
- Troubleshoot technical and operational issues to maximize equipment efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with local production, maintenance, and quality teams.
- Provide technical guidance and training to operators when required.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures across all assigned facilities.
- Prepare technical reports and communicate project progress to management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Lithography Specialist, Lithography Technician, or similar role within the metal packaging industry.
- Strong knowledge of tinplate printing and coating machines and related processes.
- Experience in troubleshooting, process optimization, and production support.
- Good understanding of quality control standards in metal decoration.
- Ability to work independently in dynamic manufacturing environments.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of English; additional languages are considered a plus.
- Availability for extensive international travel and long-term assignments abroad.
Travel & Assignment Conditions:
The successful candidate will primarily work on assignment at Tecnocap Group facilities in Italy and internationally, according to business needs.
Due to the operational requirements of the role, the position requires a high level of mobility. During the first year of employment, the employee is expected to be continuously engaged at Group facilities—primarily outside Italy—for approximately four weeks per month, and in any case no fewer than 20 working days per month.
