Mission of the Role
Gruppo Campari is currently looking for a Commercial FP&A Manager based in Sesto San Giovanni. The purpose of this role is to partner On Trade Sales team to feed short and long term decision taking, by providing insights based on holistic analysis aimed at generating profitable growth and improving relationships with strategic customers. This role will embrace a new measurement culture designed to support decisions and to help monitoring Customer and commercial policy investments, highlighting risks and opportunities for the business. The candidate should have experience in Financial Planning & Analysis in multinational FMCG companies, as well as being familiar with external (Circana/Nielsen/TradeLab) and consumer data (DOXA, …). Commercial FP&A Manager manages one direct report (On Trade Commercial FP&A Specialist).
Key Responsibilities And Activities
Commercial Finance
* Support the Commercial teams on plans & decisions (i.e., R&Opps assessment, ROI analysis, forecasting product/customer profitability) partnering with KAM, NAM, Area Managers and Sales Director;
* Implement On Trade revenue growth management initiatives in collaboration with P&GO Sr. Specialist;
* Constructively challenge commercial proposals, aiming to grow business by optimizing investments, pricing and promotional mechanics, with a results-oriented and sustainable business approach;
* Promote a partnership culture by encouraging dialogue and collaboration between Finance and Sales;
* Provide pricing guidance in line with Company strategy to ensure trade spend accuracy and effectiveness;
* Support in annual negotiations and commercial budget allocation x-customers/mechanics, being accountable for timely and accurate customer business reviews;
Financial Planning & Closing
* Lead, prepare & submit Budget and forecast processes for On Trade by partnering with Finance Team, Sales and Demand teams;
* Prepare & Analyze exhibits for business reviews with FD;
* Manage the sales incentive process in partnership with Sales, CCM and HR;
* Manage off invoice trade spending accruals, in coordination with an external center of excellence;
Key Relationships
Internal: Sales Directors, Sales Force, Customer Service, Finance department, Demand planning, Channel & Customer Marketing director, Legal, Fiscal.
External: Customers, Consultants.
Experience & Education
* Degree in Finance, preferably MBA or Economics;
* 7+ years of Commercial/Customer Finance experience, preferably with a FMCG company;
* Revenue Growth management experience is a plus;
* Sales or Trade marketing experience is a plus;
* Previous pricing experience is a plus;
* Fluency in Italian and English is a must, fluency in other languages is a plus.
