Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Lab Consultant for our Diagnostics Pre‑Sales team. Reporting to the Head of Solution Design, the Lab Consultant will play a critical role in supporting the sales process by providing technical expertise and consultation to prospective customers.
Responsibilities
Work with Sales to close current and new business Total Lab Automation opportunities to meet the growth plan of the Company.
Analyze laboratory workflows, create a vision for automation & IT for the customer and influence tender specifications.
Design and deliver high‑impact solutions that address complex business and technical challenges.
Collaborate closely with an experienced team, including product manager, project manager, and sales.
Develop along a growth journey that integrates technical and scientific expertise with business acumen and strategic vision.
Gain exposure to and collaborate within a multinational and multicultural environment.
Qualifications
Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field. Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) is preferred.
Proven experience working in a clinical laboratory setting, with strong understanding of laboratory workflows and diagnostic processes. Knowledge of WIT Technology fundamentals, Life Science market knowledge, general economics of business, and major Diagnostic competitors.
Fluent English speaking, reading, and writing.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences; strong negotiation and financial acumen.
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills; focus on customer satisfaction, project team management, organizational and time‑management abilities; self‑motivated and comfortable with field‑based activity.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers and stakeholders.
Proficiency in using laboratory information systems (LIS) and diagnostic equipment, solid PC skills including Microsoft Office, basic AutoCAD knowledge.
Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed.
Very good knowledge of workflow analytics, including cross‑discipline simulations.
