Working with the first line of defence (1LoD) to identify, assess, document, and review risks of all typesProviding oversight in the design, implementation, and effectiveness testing of controlsDeveloping and implementing risk policies, risk procedures, key risk indicators, and risk appetite statementMonitoring risks against limits and thresholds, producing reports to management and relevant stakeholdersWorking with local and global stakeholders in the risk incident management process, including registration of risk events, investigation and root cause analysis, and producing reportsParticipation in the local New Initiatives Approval Process, ensuring appropriate stakeholder engagement and governanceFacilitating appropriate risk awareness and risk culture amongst team membersSupporting audits and regulatory inquiries related to operational risk
What you'll need
4+ years of experience in risk management or a related role within financial servicesA bachelor's degreeFluency in English with excellent communication skillsGreat critical thinking and problem-solving skillsSolid organisational skills and attention to detailThe ability to work independently while managing concurrent deadlines and multiple priorities
Nice to have
Proficiency with SQLAn understanding of f inancial services regulationsKnowledge of fintech products, processes, and technologiesExperience in operational risk capital calculation and the ICAAP processA master's degreeProfessional certifications (e.g., PRMIA)
