Sales Manager
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with customers, negotiating sales terms, and delivering offers/quotes to existing and prospective clients.
Main Responsibilities:
* Negotiate with previously defined customers and prospect new ones in Italy in collaboration with the company's management.
* Act as a Key Account Manager for assigned international clients.
* Deliver offers/quotes to existing and prospective customers.
* Report to the Sales Director Europe.
Key Activities:
* Develop sales strategies for the company's products and communicate them to customers.
* Collect information necessary for sale contract preparation.
* Communicate with the technical team to propose suitable solutions for customers.
* Search for new business opportunities, particularly in replacing Polyamide compounds.
* Negotiate best sales terms in agreement with company management.
* Manage customer rates and issue material samples for laboratory testing.
* Buil d and nurture customer rapport for long-term relationships.
* Control contract application and sales volumes with assigned customers.
* Identify and manage customer risks, financial risks, delivery disruptions, and changes in customer structure.
* Act as an interface between customers and management, sales, R&D, QHSE, and finance.
* Assist technical and sales teams with tests, complaints, or disputes.
* Report on individual sales activities, customer situation, and sample progress during exchanges with company management and sales meetings.
Your Profile:
* Knowledge of sales and negotiation techniques.
* Detailed knowledge of company technical possibilities and product advantages.
* Good knowledge of the plastics industry and plastics processing, especially injection moulding with successful account management experience.
* Analytical mindset with ability to adjust to changing market conditions.
