For our own projects, we are looking for: COMMISSIONING LEAD (LNG PROJECT)
MISSION:
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Lead to support the Mozambique LNG Project, based in San Donato Milanese (Milan). The selected candidate will lead and coordinate commissioning, start-up, and handover activities for LNG facilities, ensuring compliance with contractual, technical, HSE, and quality requirements.
TASKS:
▪ Lead and coordinate all pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, test run, training, and operation activities
▪ Review contractual and project documentation related to commissioning and operation
▪ Ensure commissioning and operation requirements are properly integrated into engineering documents
▪ Prepare and maintain commissioning, start-up, and operation execution plans, including mobilization planning
▪ Supervise preparation and execution of commissioning procedures, manuals, and test packs
▪ Coordinate with engineering, construction, HSE, and operations teams to ensure smooth handover to the Client
▪ Review test run performance procedures and operating manuals
▪ Support definition of subcontractor scope of work related to commissioning and operations
▪ Monitor progress, interfaces, and KPIs during home office commissioning activities
▪ Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and support preparation and verification of HSE plans
▪ Review spare parts, consumables, and commissioning deliverables
▪ Ensure activities comply with applicable international codes and standards (IMO, SOLAS, IPS, MARPOL, classification society requirements, etc.)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related field).
* Minimum 5–10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector, with prior commissioning leadership experience.
* Solid understanding of commissioning processes in large industrial facilities.
* Strong knowledge of international standards (API, ASME, IEC, ISO) and commissioning best practices.
* Proficiency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
CONTRACT DETAILS:
▪ Location: Milan Office – San Donato Milanese, Italy
▪ Working Schedule: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week
▪ Contract Duration: 12 months
▪ Start Date: ASAP
