That’s why sourcing is a strategic pillar of our business. /ppWe are looking for a bPuchasing Team Leader /b to lead a team of buyers and specialists, optimize procurement processes, and drive performance across cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliLead and develop a purchasing team (currently 8 members). /liliTranslate strategic goals into actionable team objectives. /liliMonitor and assess team performance based on Atlas Copco’s cultural behaviours. /liliAchieve KPIs in sustainability, total cost of ownership (TCO), delivery, quality, and financials. /liliSimplify supply chains, rationalise supplier base, and standardise components. /liliDrive innovation and challenge the status quo. /liliManage global suppliers and support new projects. /liliNegotiate contracts, pricing, and terms. /liliSupport IT system integration and cross‑functional process alignment. /liliShift team focus from administrative tasks to value‑added activities. /li /ulh3Operational Focus /h3ulliAnalyse product specifications to define sourcing strategies. /liliEnsure procurement aligns with forecasts, service plans, and new product development. /liliDevelop suppliers to meet evolving standards and regulations. /liliBuild a vendor network delivering defect‑free components at competitive prices. /liliEvaluate suppliers using Atlas Copco standards (financial, technical, quality, logistics, cost). /liliLead projects to improve profitability, quality, and time‑to‑market. /li /ulh3To Succeed, You Will Need /h3ulliStrong experience in sourcing within manufacturing. /liliStrong expertise in procurement and supplier management. /liliProven leadership and stakeholder management skills. /liliExcellent negotiation and communication abilities. /liliProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). /liliBonus: Experience with SharePoint, PowerBI, PowerAutomate, Project. /liliBonus: Knowledge of compressor industry and legacy systems (AS400, SAP/MM). /liliExcellent knowledge of English language both written and verbal. /li /ulpWe encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every single requirement.
