PAbout the Role /ppAt Intus.AI, we are developing Virtual Clone (ViC), a cutting-edge platform that transforms medical scans into interactive 3D models to support surgical planning and clinical decision-making. As a Full-Stack Developer, you will play a key role in building and evolving our web-based platform, ensuring that it is robust, scalable, and ready to meet the demanding standards of healthcare technology. /ppThis is more than just software development: you will work closely with AI engineers, imaging experts, clinicians, and regulatory specialists to create a product that not only works in real-world surgical environments but is also developed in compliance with medical device certification frameworks (MDR, FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304). /ppKey Responsibilities /pulliDevelop and maintain the front-end (Vue.js, React, or similar) and back-end (Node.js, Python, C++) of our web-based platform. /liliImplement and enhance 3D visualization pipelines for anatomical structures (smoothing, tubular rendering, interactive exploration). /liliIntegrate AI-based pipelines (Dockerized services) into the platform. /liliEnsure development practices and documentation support the creation of the Technical File for certification. /liliCollaborate with the Regulatory Quality Affairs team to align development with MDR/FDA standards. /liliPartner with clinicians and researchers to design features that improve surgical workflows and anatomical understanding. /liliContribute to research studies, grant proposals, and scientific publications, showcasing the platform’s capabilities. /liliConduct testing, debugging, and performance optimization to guarantee product stability. /liliMaintain and update backend infrastructure on Linux servers and cloud environments (AWS). /li /ulpRequirements /pulliMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Biomedical/Software Engineering, or related field. /liliStrong skills in JavaScript, HTML5, Vue.js (or React/Angular) for front-end development. /liliExperience with Python, Node.js, or C++ for back-end development. /liliFamiliarity with Docker, AWS, Linux servers. /liliKnowledge of 3D rendering and image processing libraries (VTK, ITK, OpenCV). /liliUnderstanding of medical data standards (DICOM, PACS) is a plus. /liliAbility to document development work in a way that supports regulatory submissions. /liliExperience with Git/Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing. /liliStrong problem-solving, independence, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. /liliExcellent English and Italian communication skills. /li /ulpWhat We Offer /pulliA chance to build a platform that will be used in real surgical planning and operating rooms. /liliA dynamic environment combining AI, medicine, and regulatory compliance. /liliDirect involvement in research, clinical validation, and project development. /liliGrowth opportunities in a fast-scaling medtech startup with international ambition. /li /ulpThe compensation package will be defined based on experience and skills.
