Electrical Specialist – Central Construction Team (Agrate site)
You will be part of the Central Construction team, a worldwide team dedicated to the design and construction of the new infrastructure and facilities for manufacturing. As an Electrical specialist, you will manage systems such as transformers, switchboards, MV installations, busbars, cable trays, MCC, VFD, and UPS. After initial training, you will oversee electrical packages, ensuring projects are on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Define the basic design related to Electrical disciplines for new projects, supported by a team leader.
* Prepare the specifications for the Electrical discipline.
* Validate technical documentation and quotations provided by contractors.
* Ensure installation activities by contractors comply with specifications, safety, environmental rules, STMicroelectronics standards, and good practices.
* Track on-time execution of electrical installation, highlighting deviations from specifications or schedule.
* Participate in periodic meetings and stay updated on electrical activity progress with suppliers and the ST team.
* Collect final documentation related to the Electrical disciplines.
QUALIFICATIONS
* (Minimum) Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent technical degree.
* (Preferred) Master’s degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent technical degree.
* (Preferred) Experience or knowledge of industrial electrical systems, especially in microelectronics or pharmaceutical production sites.
* (Minimum) Ability to read and understand electrical and instrumental schematics.
* (Preferred) Knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D modeling software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
* (Preferred) Knowledge of Ampere or similar software.
* Strong analytical, problem‑solving, synthesis, and reporting capabilities.
* Good teamwork skills.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills.
* Proficiency in the English language, written and spoken.
* Proficiency in the Italian language, written and spoken.
