About the Role
As aSales Representative Automotive, Tech and Chemat Maersk, you'll be part of a high performing team driving business expansion and revenue growth.
We are seeking elite sales professionals who can leverage Maersk's global footprint and extensive logistics network to deliver world-class solutions, making a tangible impact on our customer's supply chains.
Essential Functions
Form and develop a customer base by mapping the market, cold calling, visiting existing and prospective customers, quoting and presenting our end-to-end supply chain solutions, etc
Target companies from the Chemicals, Technology, Automotive industry
Develop relationships with customers and generate new business
Drive business opportunities considering the Long Term/Short Term portfolio split, corridor/yield optimization, end-to-end and other VAS opportunities
Cooperate with Trade, Pricing Revenue Management and Customer Experience teams to ensure a smooth process
Be the voice of the customer within the Company, constantly gathering and channeling input from customers to improve overall Customer Experience and joint business results
Ensure constant flow of opportunities into the pipeline to hit volume and revenue target, conduct regular pipeline review and align with hygiene standards
Be informed about industry trends as well as about competition environment, providing feedback to colleagues and actively collaborate with pricing and product strategies
What You Bring
Fluency in Italian and English language is a must
Results-driven mindset with a track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
Highly organized and proactive, capable of managing multiple client interactions efficiently
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop solutions for complex supply chain challenges
Expertise in using Salesforce for managing pipelines and tracking performance
Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Good experience and very good understanding of global trades, shipping lines and freight forwarding business model
Prior working experience in relevant departments in the Shipping Industry is a plus
Willingness to travel

In this role, we can offer a full-time role, with flexible working arrangements, such as hybrid working up to 60%, adjusted working hours, and other alternative working patterns.
Location: The position can be based in Milan or Genoa.
