FIRMWARE ENGINEER
We are looking for a Firmware Engineer to join our R&D team in Città di Castello focused on Smart Gas Meters development.
The successful candidate can deal with lot of real technology challenges involved in the development process, he continuously improves skills and knowledge, through experience and courses. The ideal candidate will enjoy taking on new challenges with a proactive attitude and positive energy.
Main responsibilities
In charge of
* Firmware programming of Microcontrollers, mainly using “C” language
* Definition and implementation of tests for the purpose of validate our systems
Involved in
* definition of firmware specification and architecture
* be involved in Hardware & Firmware debugging
Required Skills
* Master’s Degree in Electronic / Computer Science / Telecommunication Engineering;
* Embedded systems knowledge;
* Languages: C, C++;
* 2+ years of experience;
* Good knowledge of basic microcontroller peripherals;
* Microcontrollers fundamentals;
* Microcontrollers specific IDE;
* Operating System foundamentals (Linux/Windows).
Nice to have
* Knowledge of embedded operating systems;
* Scripting TCL / Python / Java
* Knowledge of GCC, Makefiles, linker scripts
* Microcode Programming fundamentals
