Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.The purpose of this position is to manage Hydro’s investment of the trade accounts receivable which will include minimizing credit risk while supporting profitable growth, control DSO, support sales growth with credit and financial tools tailored for the geographic area and customer portfolio. This position helps to ensure the Corporation’s cash flow objectives are consistently met.You will work onEnsure and optimize collaboration with business partners, controllersFrequent customer visit and collaboration with the customersActive participation and input in conference calls and meetingsControl and reduce risk of receivables, minimize working capital and bad debtCoordinate / manage routine and special collection activities such as RIBA, direct debit, drafts, promissory notes, bill of exchange, documentary credit collection, etcEnsure all Collection Specialists are properly trained, mentored and coached in collection specific issues and processesManage, coordinate collection, documentary collection and account reconciliation activities of assigned portfolioDefine, supervise and control all credit, standard and non-standard collection related processesAnalyze trends within the portfolio, develop and execute plans to drive continuous AR Working Capital improvement.Monitor all the payments and bad debts.Assisting with audits as necessaryTesting and participation in projectsAdherence to with internal and external compliance regulationsRequirementsBachelor’s / Masters’s degree (Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Commercial or a related field) is preferredAt least 3- 5 years’ working experience in Sales, Commercial, Accounting or Finance fieldStrong Italian and Spanish language knowledge is requiredGood command of English knowledge, able to communicate orally and in writing effectivelyExcellent communication, organizational and negotiation skillsAble to perform frequent customer visits locallyKnowledge of local commercial and market trends is advantageDriving licenseWhat we offer youWorking at the world’s only fully integrated aluminum and leading renewable energy companyDiverse, global teamsFlexible work environment including home office optionsWe provide you the freedom to be creative and to learn from expertsCareer growth opportunities, with potential for new certificationsApplications from severely disabled and equally disabled people will be considered with equal suitability.
