Overview Reporting to the Construction Engineering Manager, the Construction Engineer is part of the Home Office team, with some trips for site surveys. Activities will be carried out during Project execution, but there will be involvement even during Proposal and Offer Phases. Duties and Responsibilities
Identify the project / offer requisitions. Establish first subdivision of main activities to be achieved. Prepare the Construction Execution Plan (construction sequences, logistics, planning, scheduling, controlling, monitoring and supervision activities). Prepare Constructability Studies. Prepare the Work Requisitions and dedicated Specifications. Prepare Construction technical evaluations. Prepare the Site Supervision Plan together with Site temporary Facilities. Participate and cooperate with Clients. Support Site activities once the Site is in operation. Participate in the Engineering Department for technical studies and site WBS definitions. Cooperate with Estimating Department for Work Estimation.
Experience
Relevant experience in EPC projects: Refinery / Oil & Gas Facilities / Power Generation sector. Additional previous references in Revamping / Shootdown will be a plus. 7 to 10 years of experience in the Refinery / Oil & Gas Facilities / Power Generation sector. Graduation in Electrical or skills in Electrical or Instrumental will be a plus.
Skills and Abilities
Good IT and analytical skills. Capability of working on multidiscipline works.
Team-Oriented Skills
Self-motivation and direction, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution. Capability to travel alone and to conduct short surveys and meetings with clients and subcontractors. Able to manage disciplines such as Electrical and Instrumental.
