Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to join our team. You will be responsible for driving growth and expanding Retex’s clientele by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and negotiating and closing deals.

The Role You Will Play :

* Strategic Vision : Drive Retex’s growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, positioning Retex as a key partner in marketing and communication, and fostering opportunities across our offerings.
* Industry Expertise : Analyze industries, create research and audits in coordination with relevant directors, and ensure Retex stays at the forefront of industry trends to deliver tailored solutions.
* Client-Centric Approach : Promote our products and services by addressing clients’ objectives, developing value propositions, and building rapport through a consultative, systemic, and multidisciplinary approach.
* Sales Excellence : Develop sales strategies, identify up-selling and cross-selling opportunities, and utilize negotiation skills to drive sales from planning to closure.
* Project Management : Oversee marketing and communication projects, participate in RFPs, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client satisfaction.

Requirements

While not all are mandatory, the following characteristics will help you succeed :

* At least 5 years of experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or similar role, preferably with a background in Marketing & Communications. Experience with clients in sectors like Consumer & Hard Goods, Health & Pharma, Telco & Utilities, Travel & Services is a plus.
* Proven success in sales and business development, with the ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing.
* Exceptional negotiation and commercial awareness skills. Proficiency in Italian and English (at least B2) to collaborate effectively.
* Proactive, organized, and capable of building rapport and collaborating within and outside the company.
