Date Posted: 2026-04-20 Country: Italy Location: IT-62-ROME-VENETO-CUST ~ Via Vittorio Veneto 89 ~ VITTORIO VENETO 89 (External Site) Position Role Type: Unspecified Field Support Manager Field Support Manager (FSM) role is to support airframe OEMs in Italy and our valued customers in Northern Italy Job Description OEM Support: Support activities surrounding the installation of our engines at Leonardo Helicopters Make appropriate on-site decisions for problem solving. Maintains a presence at the OEM's production facility and flight lines to assist in troubleshooting engine issues. Assists the OEM by providing On the Job Training to flight line and production personnel. Manages and maintain consignment inventory in support of production and flight line activity. Assists the OEM's warranty department and participate in Coordination Meetings and biweekly conference calls. Work Location: Leonardo Facilities in Vergiate & Cascina Costa Field Support: The FSM is responsible for all Customer Support activities within Northern Italy, acting as the primary owner and contact to the customer. As the primary point of contact with PW customers, the FSM is responsible in provide on-site assistance and solutions for all technical, commercial, and operational issues encountered while working in partnership with appropriate departments at PW, including Customer Support, Marketing, Service Centre and Warranty to develop customer focused solutions. The FSM is a highly trained and skilled individual, usually with expert knowledge of a particular type of PW engine, while supporting all PW engines operators. The FSM must be able to work at all levels within his customer operations, from the CEO to the Director of Maintenance and with the engineers and technicians on the hanger floor. The FSM must above all else be a great communicator, so to be able to interface and work effectively with many internal PW departments and achieve the results of delighting his customers. This position requires frequent travel to visit customers in the assigned region. The work schedule is dependent upon the support requirement of our customers. In the performance of duties, the FSM may be required to work irregular hours and maintain a frequent travel schedule, sometimes at short notice. A mobile telephone and Laptop Computer is provided. From time to time after normal working hours it may become necessary to respond to a customer’s AOG (Aircraft On Ground) requirement or urgent matters. OEM support consists of supporting production lines, flight lines and development activities This includes but not limited to: Escape management and reporting Fault isolation & technical troubleshooting Campaign management Activities associated to the role Authorized Inspector, logbook entries EMM procedure and Tooling validation Line-stoppage support Liaison with PW development engineering, marketing, the aftermarket, and the OEM Daily walkaround checks Weekly production meetings and Quality meetings Consignment stock management Relocation and immigration support will not be provided by the company.
