In this role, you will work closely with Amazon's Last Mile transportation businesses to build strategic initiatives and frameworks supporting carrier partners in meeting legal and contractual obligations related to business practices, driver/provider eligibility, and safety standards. You will apply risk and control concepts to new and existing business models, communicate findings clearly to senior leadership, and partner with cross-functional teams to design workflows that support risk reduction. Collaboration with stakeholders from safety, legal, finance, tech, and HR will be essential to implement effective, customer-focused compliance and risk management solutions. A day in the life The Audit & Compliance Manager will set program objectives, establish success metrics, and drive business changes to reduce risk. Responsibilities include overseeing inspections, consulting with carrier partners on corrective actions, and working collaboratively across teams to implement risk management solutions. About the team Transportation Risk and Compliance (TRC) represents Amazon's voice on risk and compliance across 16 regions. We proactively identify and manage risks, ensuring adherence to transportation and legal standards, and leverage expertise, processes, and technology to improve safety and facilitate business growth. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree or equivalent Experience in compliance, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or similar fields, with strong analytical skills Fluency in English and Italian (C1 level), both spoken and written PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Professional auditing or compliance credentials Experience with SQL and Excel Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics for improvements Amazon values diversity and is an equal opportunities employer.
