**ROLE SUMMARY**: St Louis School - Archinto campus, part of the Inspired Education Group, is seeking a talented, well-qualified, and inspirational IB Diploma Programme (DP) English Teacher to cover a maternity leave from **February 2026**. - ** KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**: Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in IB DP English, ensuring lessons are engaging, inquiry-based, and meet IB standards.
- Prepare students thoroughly for IB external assessments and support them in achieving outstanding academic outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the English Department and across disciplines to enhance curriculum design and interdisciplinary learning.
- Differentiate instruction and provide targeted support for students whose first language is not English.
- Participate fully in school life, including meetings, professional development, and relevant extracurricular activities.
- Uphold and model the values of the IB Learner Profile and the Inspired Education ethos.
- **THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:
**Essential**: - Legal right to live and work in Italy or an EU passport.
- Degree in English, Literature, or a closely related field and a recognised teaching qualification.
- Minimum of two years’ teaching experience, including proven success preparing students for IB external examinations.
- In-depth knowledge of the IB Diploma Programme English curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment and supporting multilingual learners.
** Preferred**: - Experience in an international or multicultural school setting.
- Specific expertise or prior success delivering IB DP English.
- Familiarity with English as an Additional Language (EAL) strategies.
